I remember when I first saw this episode, and when Mikazuki uttered those words… I dunno, but the words caught my attention immediately. And they seem to have caught Kudelia’s attention as well.
It’s just… such a sad thing to say about yourself…
We almost never get to hear Mikazuki’s thoughts, and less does he ever talk about himself. He said something similar back in season 1 (ep.18) actually, “While there isn’t really a whole lot I can do, I’ll help you in any way I can.”

Interrupting the IBO content dry spell to share cover art from the “Flagship Edition” Blue-ray set coming out in Japan late next month. Would love to see versions of this that stitch together properly and don’t slather “SAMPLE” all over everyone, but all the same, these are pretty delightful.

The subtle way that Orga and Mikazuki grow more out of sync with each other as the show goes on, as signified by their friendship wrist bump giving way to Mika’s reaching, empty hand and Orga’s jauntily turned back!
…Sorry, that last one’s not quite so delightful, is it?
But anyway, there’s also the pile of Human Debris who don’t usually make it to the official art,
Rustal posing like he is literally standing atop the world, and Akatsuki hanging out with his moms being one ginormous spoiler, so I think they’re pretty great on the whole.
